Deals Services - Senior Associate, Strategic Finance and FP&A, Advanced Decision Modeling (Boston/Hybrid)

In this role you will provide technical accounting guidance to clients within the Technical Accounting Consulting practice. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated advisory services and develop current technical capabilities through firm resources. You'll prepare technical memos and client deliverables while identifying opportunities for performance improvements. The position supports travel up to 25% and focuses on applying US GAAP/IFRS knowledge to complex accounting scenarios. • Participate in multiple client engagements within the Technical Accounting Consulting practice
• Demonstrate knowledge of complex financial accounting concepts from basics to intermediate
• Maintain and develop current technical accounting capabilities leveraging firm resources
• Assist in preparing technical memos and client deliverables
• Identify performance improvement opportunities for clients
• Work as part of an integrated service delivery team across RSM service lines
• Travel up to 25% of the year depending on client needs

• BS/BA Degree in Accounting or equivalent degree
• 2+ years of experience in public accounting, technical accounting or financial reporting
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills
• Strong technical knowledge in US GAAP and/or IFRS for both public & private companies
